| i wanted to go somewhere where not every single person knew every single detail about my life. oh, i got my wish alright. i miss seattle. but i'm happy here too. | | |
| i've never been so content with being discontent in my life.
if that doesnt make sense, i'm sorry...theres no other way to explain it. | | |

| so i was sitting in boston common reading marie claire, my absolute fave magazine ever, and this guy sitting on a nearby bench was screaming into his phone....after using my expert journalistic nosiness skills, i figured that he was breaking up with his girlfriend of 3 years. apparently, she doesnt know how to communicate and always accuses him of cheating and he cant take that anymore. but he did have one piece of advice that i think i should apply to myself: "then when you're heartbroken you say to yourself 'I'm not gonna let the next guy do this to me.' but no man did anything to you. you did it to yourself." --breaking up guy in boston common | | |
| back when jennifer aniston first married brad pitt, there was an
interview in which she said something like "marriage is great, you get
to hang out with your best bud all the time"
now i realize she and brad are divorced, but i think thats one of the
healthiest ways of looking at marriage, and i think that a lot less ppl
would have cold feet if it was looked at that way instead of the
binding, "death do us part" way.
just sayin
